The path to decentralization

Presale - 25%

Major portion of $SLED tokens are allocated for the presale phase. This allows investors and supporters to acquire tokens early to support development and launching the project early. This also enables community awareness. Presale is setup for April to July of 2024. The sale can end earlier if the targeted number of tokens are sold.

Driver Airdrop - 10%

Drivers are the most important part of the Sled ecosystem. To incentivize early driver adoption 10% of the tokens will be distributed to drivers onboarding onto the platform. Drivers can complete various tasks such as downloading the driver app, setting up the driver profile (uploading driver license, proof for previous ride-sharing experience) and by referring new drivers to our platform.

Ecosystem & Maintenance - 20%

The tokens allocated for ecosystem will be used for new feature development and to pay for maintaining centralized services which are necessary to keep the Sled platform up and running. While the goal is to decentralize most of the services, we will still rely on centralized services such as push notifications, email & phone verification, identity verification, location tracking to calculate ETA etc.

Liquidity & Market Making & Buyback- 20%

Allocation set aside to ensure liquidity across various exchanges, maintain volatility, other market making activities and for buyback programs.

Team - 10%

The founding team is invested and dedicated in helping Sled succeed. This allocation ensures, the team is rewarded for the hard work and commitment and hold them tied to Sled for the long haul. 1 year cliff after which 0.5% is unlocked every quarter for 20 quarters.

Legal & Advice - 10%

Legal team helps Sled setup and launch ride-hailing services across geographies. Sled will also use help from strategic partners and advisors who can share their knowledge and expertise to help guide sled in the right direction.

Rewards - 5%

Riders and drivers are the main actors of the Sled platform. To incentivize and encourage them to grow the network and adopt good behaviour such as eco-friendly riding, carpooling etc this pool of tokens will be used.
